P&P is finally here and i say we all see it. Well nto chris since he has sworn off movies and we dont want to make him break that oath. BUt i think that it would be neat if the rest of us were to see it. I dont want to exclude chris but i really want to see the movie and it is finally here and it would be nice to see it with the regulars so i think that we should go. what if we planned it for some friday night after i work so like a late showing and we all went to the stark street theatre and see it. It's sopposed to be really good and me and arianna are totally excited to see it. SO what do you guys say, comments, questions, ideas, concerns???

Rifts
In light of the recent online events that have been causing rifts among the regulars. I say we further explore the interesting thoery of a hand holding circle and get everything out in the open. Saturaday me and arianna had been hoping to get together with the regulars and it may be fitting if that aforesaid ceremony were to take place then. Suggestions, comments, ideas???

Haha, this sounds so bad so forgive me, please! But even though I was pushing for Saturday for all of us, I'm actually swamped now. I sort of became a couch potato from 3-11 because 24 was on in a huge marathon and I didn't go back to my homework. So so so sorry guys! Arianna

Happy Thankgiving to all the regulars and happy holidays to come. Ivan metioned the toher night that it owuld e ncie to have a holiday meal with the regulars some time and i think that would be a wonderful idea. It could be like a pot luck sort of deal were every one brings a dish and we all sit around a table and eat a meal celebrating which ever holiday that we chose to celebrate. I think that it would be wonderful and that we should make it happen. Christmas is coming up and i am nto going anywhere so what do you guys say> Anyone up for some yuletide dinner?!

It is a truth universally acknowledged...
...that a single man in possesion of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.
Seeing as friday didn't pan out quite as any of us thought it would (oh well though) I think we're going downtown on Sunday to see some P&P. The reason for such being that it won't hit Stark St. until the 23'd (Arianna had a break-down when she heard that) so she's basically threatening to go see it without us if we don't go on Sunday.

As long as we all go see it eventually I'll wait. And by eventually, I mean by next Sunday.
Ivan, I'm so proud of you for knowing the first line of the book! How did you know that? I read the heading and I was like, "P&P! Ivan is so smart!" Ok so lets start the planning up again. How does next Sunday work for everyone? Nikki works at 4 so she'd want to be back by 3 and its an hour to get back, so thats 2, and the movie is 2.5 hours long so that's 11:30, and it takes an hour to get there and that is at 10:30. Fun fun fun. So be prepared to come. Nikki volunteered to take some people if they chipped in for gas money. But we'll need two cars if we're all going (Chris? Andrew? Care to volunteer to use your car as a carpool. EVEN THOUGH IT'S ILLEGAL - At 1:28 PM, Unknown said...

Arianna, you're so determined that you're willing to let Andrew and Chris break the law? Shame.... And why don't we go another day, when it's more convenient, i.e. what is Nikki's work schedule?
- At 1:52 PM, Arianna said...
-
You just want to sleep in. Lol. I can do Saturday if it's after 2, but Chris can't because he has the play. Nikki's schedule is from 4-8 on every Friday, Sunday, Monday.

Ok, Saturday doesn't work for a lot of people so that's off.

P&P
For those of us who aren't in Texas and aren't in the play, our Friday plans seem to be a little unstable. We wanted to see Pride and Prejudice when Nikki got off work at 8, but the movie is only playing in Portland this weekend, and NEXT weekend at Stark Street. So do we want to go downtown and see it, or wait until next week to see it and do something else this week? Spencer actually IMed me and gave me a site to visit of the listings and times it is playing. So check the site out and tell me what works and what we want to do. http://www.oregonlive.com/movies/index.ssf?finder=olive&movieId=43360®ion=&x=48&y=10

It's not YourSpace, yet.
Okay, the lack of action on the Blog can only mean that you're all busy with your lives in the outside world, so I forgive you for forgetting to keep in touch here. Arianna's got like million tests in history, etc. etc. (I can't think of anyone else's reason for not posting except lack of stuff to write about), UNLESS I mention Chris, who, probably, as I'm writing this (and no doubt as any of you are reading this) is cruising the pages of Myspace, delving deeper and deeper into it's warm, yet misleading embrace of friends and an e-social life. I'm not one to talk though, I've been pro-Myspace ever since the beginning of summer (it is, after all, how I started talking to Jessica) but being on for seven hours straight? Just ask Chris how many RE: are in the massive message he's got going on between Kelsey K. and you get an idea of how addicting it is. Which is very. Arianna, Nikki? You want to join in on our fun?
Oh! Chris might even give up talking on AIM because he has Myspace now!!!
Anyone up for an intervention?
-Ivan

Count me in, Ivan (for the intervention, not for Myspace). Also, Chris didn't spend 6 hours on yesterday, he spent 11 - I know because he told me after jazz band got out this morning. Chris, if you read this, why don't you devout your attention to the blog? It has GOT to be much cooler than any Myspace. The fact that people are your "friends" and they've only seen your picture is so superficial and stupid. Nikki and I are holding strong though, haha. Down with Myspace!
- At 5:53 PM, Unknown said...

Making any generalizations about Myspace is a bit unfair don't you think. While there are people that are friends without having known each other, most of the people on my friends list and Chris's are from Reynolds, and are immediate friends. Think of it like a big blog, where you can keep in touch with ALL of your friends (except the most important, haha)
11 hours is a little much though.. - At 9:05 PM, Nikki said...

I frankly am a little dissapointed int the lack of action at the blog. Things are only as cool as you make them and frankly you guys are making it suck. Me and arianna are the only ones that seem to be making any contirbutions to this blog and andrew that is pathetic. Your the one who started this thing and when was the last time you contributed to the blog hmmmmmm. And chris i am very offended that you would rather spend time on my space instead of a blog with what i thought were your best friends. The least you oculd have done was spend 10 min. on the blog. that would leave you 6 hours and 50 min. But no you neglected us and spent 7 hr on a web site that you just started hanging on. Maybe in time you will realize who your real friends are. Ivan i ahve to give you a little credit your making a ffort and i totally back you all the way. Intervention is neccessary and i will do what ever it takes to get ride of chrises rediculas obssesion with My-space

Hand-Holding Circle
To add to what Ivan just said, Nikki and I decided it's time to take our relationship to the "next level." Haha! She wants us to be one of those groups who can just walk up to one another and take their hand and make it not mean anything romantic. So to practice getting to this stage, next time we all get together, be prepared to stand in a circle and all hold hands and seriously bond (not that what we've been doing the last two days wasn't serious bonding). I just think it's so cool how going into freshman year I thought I knew you all so well, haha, and now in junior year I'm realizing I still don't know the half of it.

If this turns into a cult I'm bailing, not that you guys don't rock, but, as a rule, I try not to affiliate myself with anything.

I agree with Andrew on avoiding forming a cult, but we have definately become closer over the last few years. I'm all for this bonding business, I think it's great, although...

this is not a colt and we will not be doing any weird spiritual or paganistic rituals so you guys do not have to worry about anything

I heard P and P was supposed to be bad.
HEY!!!!! andrew long time no hear from. (on the blog and off the blog) NO it is going to be good. I can tell. And you cant believe everything that you hear anyways. But you should be able to trust me so trust me when i say it will be good.
P&P will of course be good but since there are so many movies I want to see, and only so much money on top of all the presents I need to buy, I am cutting it for King Kong which everyone so far sounds like they're interested in seeing and Narnia, which has my expectations to be even better than P&P. And that one I really will see by myself, but then again Nikki loves the old movie of The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe so I don't think I have to worry about it. But if you boys want to join the fun then that would be extra wonderful.
i owuld love to see al three of those but narnia and p&p are at the top of my list
what about going ot a late mpvie friday night??
