earning a livan

I haven't had a Friday off of work since I got this job. I haven't been to Settlers in just as long. I forgot what it all looks like. This is silly. I need a good Settlers game. I need to keep it alive. Haha.

I've Just Seen A Face

Man, "I've Just Seen a Face" is probably the most under appreciated Beatles song there is. No question. I heard it on the Across the Universe soundtrack it's amazing... Whoa, hold on, is there anyway I can embed the song into this post??? I can embed a video.... Ok, here's a youtube video of the Across the Universe version, we'll see if this works. I still need to see that movie by the way.

But anyway, on a more pertinent note, I've decided that Ivan has inspired me to start up a blog. Probably the first reaction to this is: Andrew, take a look at the Regulars blog, that died like 6 months ago. I am aware. But, at the same time, I feel like the Regulars blog is more about Regulars stuff, of which there isn't really any. If I had a blog of my own, it would be about stuff about me, of which there is a lot. Whatever though. Keep on keepin' on.

I'm going to come back and make a post about this eventually, but I'll start it out as a comment. Man Andrew, if you make a blog that will mean half the regulars have one now. Mine is up and running, Chris transferred all of his over to blogspot (though on a different account for some ungodly reason). Get on it man. I'm trying to get Arianna to make one as well, but she's not to confident that she'd keep going with it.

I'd react to the song, but I don't have any speakers right now so I'll save that for later.

Chris has a blog? Where is it? What's the name?

It's all of his myspace blogs. chrisjennes.blogspot.com

Yeah, with one 's'

What's the link to your blog, Andrew? I like how everyone is blogging their hearts out, it gives me such a good cycle of internet browsing. Ivan, I just read your first blog entry and it was stupendous. All we need is Nikki to get a blog and then we're golden.

My blog is definitely pending right now. All I'm waiting for is a good blog name. It'll come to me eventually.

Arianna, save your Ivan's blog comments for Ivan's blog.

When I saw Across the Universe my favorite part/song was when they were all in the bowling alley. I just looked it up and it's this song. Haha, rock on.

A Time Capsule? Really?

So that whole time capsule comment got me wondering, why don't the Regulars have one anyways? New Year's resolution you guys, let's hammer down some memories that we can suppress for twenty years and then look back fondly on after we open it again. UNO cards, frisbees, you name it.

If it's something anyone is interested in, then let's get it going.

Under The Radar

I wonder if anyone will notice this post...

Thanksgiving Break is over, and the blog was mentioned over the weekend so I thought I would check it out again. I don't know how useful it is to have a blog for the Regulars anymore (or if it was ever useful), but maybe we can get something else going, similar to it.

If anyone sees this post, give me a message. It'll be a time-capsule message-in-a-bottle deal.

Dude, rock on. You only posted this yesterday and I'm already responding! Some sixth sense drew me to the blog. Good times, I love re-reading these when I want to procrastinate on my homework. We did so many awesome things, haha.

Man Ivan, who would you kill for the island scenario? You never answered when I asked you. It was probably Chris but you didnt want to say it in front of him, right? Hahaha, it's all good.

How is this like a time capsule?

At 12:02 AM, Blogger Unknown said...

It would have been a time-capsule if I had said some meaningful things, and if Arianna had checked it.... six months later than she did. No worries though, any blog post is a good blog post.

And who would I kill for the island scenario? That's still a toughie. It wouldn't be Chris because I know that Chris would be the only one that could make me laugh even while I'm dying. I'm thinking Spencer. But that's just me.

WHOA!! Spencer? He's your best friend!! Why on earth would you kill him?

At 8:04 PM, Blogger Unknown said...

Haha, it's not like I hate Spencer or anything! In fact, if he's my best friend, then our friendship has pretty much peaked.

I was talking to him about it, and I'm stuck on whether killing the person is for a practical reason, as in Chris not being able to build a shelter; or just some one that we would live without.

An idea

Before I get to what I want to say....guess what! My blogger speaks Czech. Instead of a comment it says příspěvek and stuff...cool, isn't it?
Well... I haven't checked the blog for a while and now that I'm back... I noticed that my dear Arianna is still the Dictator?!!! Seriously guys, don't you think that it's time for a change? Don't take that personally, Arianna ;)

And...good luck to you, college kids! I still have one more year of high school and unlike Nikki I'm not looking forward to leaving it yet. Anyway - I know this post is pretty much about nothing but still...I guess I just wanted to drop by and say hi. And how I miss you.

P.S. Did you know the Czech Republic got second at the European Ultimate Frisbee Championship in England (category mixed)? I wasn't on the team, though :))) Maybe next time...

Rachel, hey! Wow, you can tell no one checks the blog anymore because no one pounced at the opportunity to reply to you. I've written you some letters/emails. I hope you're not too busy to write me back sometime. No rush though. Let me just say this: college rocks. No wait, haha, I can say it better: COLLEGE FREAKING ROCKS!! Haha, excellent.

Help!

Chris' computer just blew up in front of our eyes.

Now that I've got your attention, the details. Chris, Arianna, and I were planning on playing some AO2 tonight, AO2night. Just as we were about to get ready to play the game, Chris and I started smelling this horrific smell. We look over at Chris' computer, we see gigantic balls of flame emitting from the back of the CPU. Instantly, my nerves start to choke up in anticipation of the events to come. I felt like I was going to have to put out a fire. As quickly as it began, the sparks started to dissipate to a dull glow.

In an anti climactic twist, all three of us begin to bust up laughing. Tears streaming from our face, it was a good 3 minutes before we came to our senses and tried some problem solving. We knew we had to disconnect the flaming mass from power. I'm tired of blogging, everything's fine, Chris is out one computer, lame.

AO2 just went up in flames.
