We haven't seen each other in forever!

How does bowling sound to you all? I think it sounds wonderful - it's a good way to wrap up the break and finally see one another, since we haven't managed to in a long while. Although, this time, let's make reservations, lol.

Bowling at 3:30 or 4:00ish. Ivan can't come, and I'll call Nikki to verify but it sounded like she was booked until NEXT weekend.
School starts tomorrow! Yuck!

Poll-itics

Alright all, I know it's the holidays, and the last thing you want to think about is the blog, so I'll make it quick. My request as a christmas gift from you all is one idea for a good poll topic. I know that as of late the poll has been kind of lame, and everyone is badgering me to put up a new poll. So, at least one contribution from each of you would brighten up the season. Even though it doesn't need brightening.

Amen, lol.
My suggestion is:
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THE REGULARS DO TOGETHER SOON:
Bowl
See a movie
Frisbee
Hang out at the castle

I totally agree with that list. And today is shot for me but i would like to do something wiht the regulars next weekened . which is a little foolish for me to say becasue i have not shecked to see what i am actually doing next weekend but whatever. What if we went to the castle of bowling next weekend or even a movie wait why doesnt everybody just refer to ariannas list awbove this comment. I might end up working next saturaday but seeing as how i always work the late shift we should be able to do something suring the day

Merry Christmas

Hi. I know everyone checks the blog rather frequently to see if anyone has added anything. So hi, and merry Christmas. If you could get anything for Christmas, what would it be? And it can be crazy too because I know for a fact this year Nikki asked her mom for a pony. So what would it be? I'm thinking a really great book or movie... I've watched An Affair to Remember twice already and it is a top 10 (please, boys, tell me you have seen it!) Or maybe Where the Red Fern Grows, since I gave my copy of it to Nikki last year I think. Or the year before that. Anyway, it's the only question I can think of that everyone can respond to. Arianna

Please, don't all respond at once! lol.

I would have loved a pony but that didnt work out. I soppose my car will have to do. So i decided since i did not get a pony and a pony and a car are both good transportation i am going to imagine my car is a pony. So now my car is red the pony.

2 Months!

Man, you guys know we totally passed up the two month anniversary of the blog? Back on October 4 the first post was posted, it was one of mine, they grow up so fast... But anyway, I'm not suggesting that the blog needs an appreciation day or anything, so Arianna, you can stop getting so excited. Just letting you all know!

Har har. And, you forgot to point out that, since those first couple of posts in October, it's been almost 2 months since you've actually posted anything at all. Perhaps we should celebreate THAT.

Secret Santas

Ok you guys, we're underway! Everyone has a name that they should be sneaking presents to. I think it should end with the arrival of Winter Break but that's just a suggestion. So we have two weeks (unless anyone opposses). And no telling what was on your card because I already know too many people's Secret Santas already, haha. Oh yeah, and to help be secretive about this stuff, I don't know what else to do but use lockers so even if you've never used it before please start checking your locker (and also blog the number, location, and locker combo so your Secret Santa can access it). Nikki's and mine is locker 190, lower commons, combo 17-23-9.

Everyone is ruining this hallowed and sacred tradition before it's even getting off the ground! It's a travesty! The very least you all can do is not talk about your secret santas (or anyone else's for that matter) ANYMORE. Please!!! Think of the children.

You guys can just put mine in Ariannikki's locker. Cheers!

At 7:57 PM, Blogger Arianna said...

Why doesn't everyone do that? Spencer I know uses his locker and Ivan, aren't you his locker buddy? So give us your combo! And yeah, Andrew that's a good idea so please check my locker for gifts everyday... or I guess when I check it I could just tell you something is in there for you. Secret Santa of Andrew, please label packages in my locker so I don't get confused who they're gifts for. And Andrew (or Chris if he reads this) tell Chris we can put his gifts in my locker too.

I agree with Ivan it spoils all of the fun and mystery (cough Chris!. Please just enjoy it without spoiling it for the rest of us.

New: Appreciation Days

Haha, check this out you guys: first we had Regular traditions, and then laws, and now we add the latest Regular development to our... culture: holidays! Ivan and I think it would be cool to have an established Appreciation Day for each regular, and it would be exactly six months from your original birthday, so here I did the list already and everything: Ivan would be December 7, Chris would be December 17, Andrew would be April 29, Nikki June 28 and I would be June 30th. Spencer's would be October 16th we think, because we're not sure what day his actual birthday is on (that sounds horrible, I know). Anyway, it would be present-less but just full of good feeling and appreciation for the intended Regular for a full day. (This might also heal the rifts Nikki was talking about). Arianna

I think it's an awesome idea, whoever came up with it should be commended.

Quite the image of humility Ivan. Anyway, what exactly do these "Appreciation Days" entail? Cake? Presents? Or just the usual saying what we like about this person? Ah well, at least we don't think eachother is unworthy of appreciation.
To be brutally honest (it is my specialty after all) this really sounds like one of those things that you do in the 3rd grade where everyone goes around in a circle and says at least one thing they like about that person. In fact, I daresay that was the meat of your guys' idea.
Whatev, let the angry emails denoting my lack of enthusiasm ensue.

At 7:23 PM, Blogger Arianna said...

Haha, Andrew you crack me up. As I said above, it's presentless and doesn't necessarily require a cake or anything, but if you want to give one to Ivan (his is in 5 days actually) then that would be a very nice gesture. It is sort of like those 3rd grade things but it doesn't necessarily have to be about that. It can be like an email or, in your case, haha, refraining from saying anything negative about them for a whole 24 hours... or as long as possible, haha. Just kidding, Andrew! And no this is not an angry email denoting your lack of enthusiasm, it's an email promoting your good side. Or something like that.

i think it is a wonderful idea and i am all for it

Ivan and I also want to do a Secret Santa really badly!

At 11:04 PM, Blogger Unknown said...

Well seeing as the feelings about these days are mixed, it doesn't have to be that big of a deal. Like don't go out of your way to do anything especially nice for that person, just show a little more... appreciation? I don't know. If it's anything, Chris's and my day are coming up soon.

I'm definately sending myself a letter of appreciation.

Secret Santa!? So I guess this means I have to get presents for you guys, ah jeez. Whatever though, lets do it, it sounds less than revolting after all. Might be kind of fun actually, trying to find out who my Secret Santa is...

At 1:12 PM, Blogger Arianna said...

Haha, Andrew the whole point is so you DON'T have to buy presents for everyone; just one person. I don't really know for sure how it actually works... I know we draw names and do like two or three small, inexpensive gifts and leave them for the person, in say their locker or backpack or something. We'll have to exchange locker combos and everything before it starts. How fun! I'm so excited! And yeah, it will be cool to try and figure out who our Secret Santas are!!!

At 12:17 AM, Blogger Unknown said...

How are we going to pick secret santas?

At 8:22 PM, Blogger Arianna said...

I got it all worked out; this afternoon my church had a budget meeting and I was bored so I have a slip of paper with everyone's name on it. I'll bring it to school tomorrow and whenever I see you I'll make you grab a name. Preferably look at it before I disappear because if you get your own name and all, you have to redraw. Ok see you!

P.S. My dad's back from Iran. Let the nightmare begin.

Arianna, if you keep telling everyone, then it wont mean anything when we do remember. Keep quiet!
