If I Needed Someone...
Well, I hope you guys are proud of yourselves. In recent Regular news, today's Frisbee/Olympics combo was ruined due to lack of participation. Arianna and I met up after school, Chris had made plans, Nikki already had plans, Ivan made plans, and I don't know what was going on with Spencer. What happened guys? Who makes plans after you already have plans?
Alright, next Friday, the 3rd, frisbee. Comment with concerns/excuses.

Love Me Do
Alright you guys, being the creative genius that I am, the titles of all of my posts from my last post to forever will also be the titles of Beatles songs. It's going to rock.
Ok, this weekend. Olympics on Friday after frisbee at my place. Saturday, I hear things about this Pulp Fiction, but I won't make it, and neither will Chris, so it can't be at either of our houses. That's the news for now I guess...
I don't know what love is, but you guys are up there,

I love you too, Ivan.
Friday after school is frisbee, and then at 8:00 we are going to meet at Andrew's to watch the Olympics. Last time I stayed until 11:00 and I expect it will be around that same schedule again.
Saturday or Sunday is Rachel's Pulp Fiction Party, the place is to be announced, but I think the general thought was it will be at Chris's house at 3 o'clock.
Hope that helps, buddy. Love, Arianna

'Lympics
Seeing as Arianna is trying to put together an event to watch the Olympics as a group, can anyone give me some solid info as to when it might or might not be?

Expanding our Borders
Ok, no hostility please, but I think the frisbee season of '06 should be more of a loop back to season 1 when we had dozens of people coming to frisbee every day. Today, the opening of the frisbee season on Feb. 10 (for historical record) was cool because it was something new. And I think we should start-up the call process again and get two new regulars - Cam and Rachel. Both of them will only have the wrap up of the year before they leave us. I love the regulars we have of course but they click so well and I know we tried Cam before but that was when there was Camber. I know they will probably start back up again but I don't know... Cam has always connected with us and Rachel, come on, is positively so awesome and fun and she fits right into our group. And I'm serious about making them Regulars (let the angry emails ensue, as Andrew said once). So what do you guys think? And when is the next frisbee game? Tomorrow, being Saturday? Seriously, let's get one going tomorrow. And let's call Cam and Rachel (and Ben for Nikki).

Ok, as of today I realize that I love being quoted, hint hint. But anyway, to the task at hand. No one is getting made a regular for a while, there is a necessary extended interview process.
As far as larger games, I don't know. I don't want a repeat of today. That splitting into two rooms thing was a party foul, or at least a regular foul. We can try it a few more times, but it just feels like that intimate setting we all love about frisbee will be lost.
Love (I bet you guys will get a kick out of that), Andrew - At 11:39 PM, Arianna said...

I agree the two-room thing was not good - we had a little too many people today to do anything intimate and happy, like we normally do when we are all together at the castle. Some people just do not clash with us. But I think Cam and Rachel do, so instead of 6 it would be 8. A little bigger, still intimate. Arianna
And yes Andrew I got a kick out of that, but only if you really are meaning it and not so you could see your name be typed as I comment on it. That would just be bad. - At 9:56 AM, Nikki said...

I am glad that iw as not the only one who did not liek the two room thing. I understand scott and brittany do not usually hang out with all of us and neither does been. But brittany felt pretty abd when she left feeling liek she and scott were part of the whole room seperation. I really dont know what happened in the split and i really dont want to know. Lets just suffice it to say that i was kind of mad about it. i am over it i have moved on but.. never mind. I think it would be neat to have some more people come sometimes. And i liek cam and rachel both but i agree with andrew, i dont think there should be any new regulars for a while. I will consider it and get my self used to the idea.

My stance on it, The Regulars are close friends, not something that we can add new people into. This doesn't mean we should exclude anyone though, but we don't have to make them regulars to be their good friend.
The two-room split was unfortunate, but I really think that... 14 people just touches the line for a lot of people. I mean, Spencer's living room is only so accomadating, and I don't know how involved everyone would be with so many people.
How it all started, well, I guess in Team Uno, me and Corey had nothing to do so I figure we go play a few games of Spit. Then as we move on to War, Spencer and Denise come out of the room and came to the kitchen, so we all moved to the counter to play '13', during which we started to consume mass amounts of ice cream and whipped cream without telling you all (mwahahaha).
Then we decided to move into Spencer's room to listen to some music, because it was just like being in the kitchen. The move was what got people's attention though, which triggered the schism-ism.
The chips brought Cam into the room, then Arianna and Rachael, then (with perfect comedic timing) Jared. And that was pretty much it.
Sorry about the split though, hopefully next time it'll be more under control. - At 10:06 PM, Unknown said...

Yeah, I'd say those chips were definately an played intregal role in the downfall of our group dynamic. That's so sad, demolished by a bag of chips. It's like a man at arms destroying all of your villagers just because you don't know about town bell...

BTW (by the way), Ben and Nikki --> Benikki. Pronounced BENikki. Spread the word. And, you heard it here first.

Andrew I know you didn't just use an AOE metaphor. Using one of those on the blog is just like entering a cheat in a multiplayer game. It's just embarassing.
And BENikki sounds like Ben is... icky. But it works.
Spenise? Despencer?
Jessivan?

I'm holding off the Benikki for a while. The whole name combo thing really only works for Camber I think.

Imagine
Ok, so, picture this with me, if you will: I walk into government this morning, I take my usual seat in the back. Rachel walks in, you know I do a "Hey Rachel", then, she asks if I'm going to play frisbee on Friday. Upon hearing this, I launch into a quite lovely little summary of the Regular's astronomical communication issues, and then I tell her I will be there.
So afterwards, I ask myself: Why was I not told about an upcoming game? Then, even more disturbing, I ask my self: What would have happened if Rachel had not told me about this game? The answer, chaos.
So, after I have this little chat with myself, I come home, I get online, I tell myself, ok, I can just check the blog and find all necessary arrangements for the game posted there. Well, I came to the blog. I found no plans, no mention of the "planned" game! Allow myself to explain to you all the purpose of the blog: I created this blog to denote and record the social calendar of our little group here. The blog was supposed to be a place where information could be found. Now, I know it is the off season, and the social calendar is a bit bare, but, all the more reason to keep our updates prudent, and our information prevalent!
So, in closing, I ask, nay, beg of you, please, in such dire times as these, keep alive this lone thread of communication, with out which precious time, time with friends, will most certainly be lost. Good night, and good luck.
Andrew

Thank you all. Ivan, I wore flip flops today, it rocked. A roll up of course will be necessary, I hope it's not too cold/windy.
Haha, Goodnight, and good luck. Where do I come up with this stuff.
