Expanding our Borders
Ok, no hostility please, but I think the frisbee season of '06 should be more of a loop back to season 1 when we had dozens of people coming to frisbee every day. Today, the opening of the frisbee season on Feb. 10 (for historical record) was cool because it was something new. And I think we should start-up the call process again and get two new regulars - Cam and Rachel. Both of them will only have the wrap up of the year before they leave us. I love the regulars we have of course but they click so well and I know we tried Cam before but that was when there was Camber. I know they will probably start back up again but I don't know... Cam has always connected with us and Rachel, come on, is positively so awesome and fun and she fits right into our group. And I'm serious about making them Regulars (let the angry emails ensue, as Andrew said once). So what do you guys think? And when is the next frisbee game? Tomorrow, being Saturday? Seriously, let's get one going tomorrow. And let's call Cam and Rachel (and Ben for Nikki).

Ok, as of today I realize that I love being quoted, hint hint. But anyway, to the task at hand. No one is getting made a regular for a while, there is a necessary extended interview process.
As far as larger games, I don't know. I don't want a repeat of today. That splitting into two rooms thing was a party foul, or at least a regular foul. We can try it a few more times, but it just feels like that intimate setting we all love about frisbee will be lost.
Love (I bet you guys will get a kick out of that), Andrew
I agree the two-room thing was not good - we had a little too many people today to do anything intimate and happy, like we normally do when we are all together at the castle. Some people just do not clash with us. But I think Cam and Rachel do, so instead of 6 it would be 8. A little bigger, still intimate. Arianna
And yes Andrew I got a kick out of that, but only if you really are meaning it and not so you could see your name be typed as I comment on it. That would just be bad.
I am glad that iw as not the only one who did not liek the two room thing. I understand scott and brittany do not usually hang out with all of us and neither does been. But brittany felt pretty abd when she left feeling liek she and scott were part of the whole room seperation. I really dont know what happened in the split and i really dont want to know. Lets just suffice it to say that i was kind of mad about it. i am over it i have moved on but.. never mind. I think it would be neat to have some more people come sometimes. And i liek cam and rachel both but i agree with andrew, i dont think there should be any new regulars for a while. I will consider it and get my self used to the idea.
My stance on it, The Regulars are close friends, not something that we can add new people into. This doesn't mean we should exclude anyone though, but we don't have to make them regulars to be their good friend.
The two-room split was unfortunate, but I really think that... 14 people just touches the line for a lot of people. I mean, Spencer's living room is only so accomadating, and I don't know how involved everyone would be with so many people.
How it all started, well, I guess in Team Uno, me and Corey had nothing to do so I figure we go play a few games of Spit. Then as we move on to War, Spencer and Denise come out of the room and came to the kitchen, so we all moved to the counter to play '13', during which we started to consume mass amounts of ice cream and whipped cream without telling you all (mwahahaha).
Then we decided to move into Spencer's room to listen to some music, because it was just like being in the kitchen. The move was what got people's attention though, which triggered the schism-ism.
The chips brought Cam into the room, then Arianna and Rachael, then (with perfect comedic timing) Jared. And that was pretty much it.
Sorry about the split though, hopefully next time it'll be more under control.
Yeah, I'd say those chips were definately an played intregal role in the downfall of our group dynamic. That's so sad, demolished by a bag of chips. It's like a man at arms destroying all of your villagers just because you don't know about town bell...
BTW (by the way), Ben and Nikki --> Benikki. Pronounced BENikki. Spread the word. And, you heard it here first.
Andrew I know you didn't just use an AOE metaphor. Using one of those on the blog is just like entering a cheat in a multiplayer game. It's just embarassing.
And BENikki sounds like Ben is... icky. But it works.
Spenise? Despencer?
Jessivan?
AOEndrew?
I'm holding off the Benikki for a while. The whole name combo thing really only works for Camber I think.
Spoil sports.
